Mother daughter trip! We booked through Sunwing vacations and stayed at Starfish Varedero
Food
Good! Lots of variety and choices - we had an Italian restaurant as our special night (included) the hours were also perfect

Very strong

Beach was absolutely stunning and lots of chairs 
Pool was perfect as well but not as many seats 
Bars were great
Room
Was big, clean and comfortable - we even got upgraded to a private condo instead of a basic hotel room 
Entertainment
Very little and not that great

They have lots of options and the one we did was fun to get out and about but otherwise wasnt overly fantastic. I don't remember what it was called but it included a gorge/cave swimming hole (highlight!), cruise on the river (we drive), sugar plantation, and snorkeling (which we couldnt do because of the water)

- do your research
- don't go if you want "florida weather"
- bring hygiene products for the locals

USVI, PUERTO RICO, TURKS & CAICOS

TYPE: Cruise

Family trip! We booked with iTravel 2000 for Carnival cruise line
Food
Lots of choice and all of it is included! You get the same waiter every night and ours were AMAZING. They made my trip! 

Drinks
Very expensive (you pay for everything except water)
Amenities
They had 2 pools and lots of hot tubs - it was never overly crowded but you had trouble finding seats. Waterslides, casino, game room, gym, outdoor gym, honestly so much
Room
We paid for the balcony room - its not big enough for 3 people though. The 2nd bed is a pull out couch and was NOT comfortable. We were very low as well. 
Entertainment
Amazing! They constantly had stuff going on!

You get to see a bunch of country all at once - easy way to travel
Dislikes
I hated being on the boat - i got very bored. The islands were amazing but we had issues getting into Dominican Republic and didn't get the chance to dock there - which ruined my trip. The fact you had to pay for alcohol and soft drinks was pathetic to me. 
Price: I can't really remember but I think it was around $1300 per person. (I had a discount through work as well)

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

TYPE: All-Inclusive

Family trip! We stayed at the Bahia Principe in Punta Cana
Food
Very very good! Lots of variety and choices! 

Drinks
The best i've ever had!!!!! 
Amenities
Pool was really good & have volleyball in it but you had to be up really early to get chairs and save them 
Beach was awesome with lots of activities on it (same thing with chairs)
It was a long time ago so I don't remember everything but they had A LOT to do
Room
Spacious and perfect for 4 - the resort itself is huge and has little trains that take you everywhere
Entertainment
So much!!!! And it was so good! We so acrobats, magic and they had a special viewing for the Super Bowl
Added Tours
They have lots of options! We went swimming with the dolphins which was so amazing! Its not something I would recommend now just because I'm pro animals and its not a nice environment for them. We also went horseback riding which was stunning but the horses were so skinny that it was sad

Price: I'm not sure - my parents paid for this vacation. (My guess is over 5K for the 3 of us)

Cruise Photos

US Virgin Islands - St. Thomas
I wasn't a huge fan of the area where we docked BUT the tour we did to Magens Bay was amazing! The drive was really cool and we got to stop at an amazing look out where we could see all of the island. The beach itself was crystal clear, clean and not overly crowded. 
Puerto Rico - San Juan
A country so rich in history and culture. We paid to go to a private local beach club and it was amazing. The beach was off to the side so you could see the city from the water. The beach club was not at all crowded and such a fun scene. The pool was large and there was a DJ playing good music. 
Turks & Caicos - Grand Turk
I instantly fell in love with this island. I've never seen such beauty. The waters and sand were amazing. Little beaches all over. We did an island tour (its a small island so you get around really fast) and you really see so much. I would buy a place here. 

*I would like to add when we were there a lot of the islands were still destroyed from the recent hurricane and they were still AMAZINGLY beautiful
